What could he possibly have?

My almost 3 year old son woke up with a fever of 103.2 friday morning so I gave him some children's ibuprofen to bring it down and he was fine for a few hours while he didn't have a fever but then it started going up again so I brought him to doctor and he said he has a throat infection and some chest congestion so he prescribed him tamiflu because he said there was a lot of people coming in with the flu so he thought that could be what it is. He also prescribed him some amoxillon for his throat infection. He hasn't had vomiting or diarrhea and he's perfectly fine when he doesn't have a fever. I just don't know if he's getting a fever because of his throat infection or what. He doesn't have any other symptoms. His nose isn't running or stuffy and hes not coughing. He actually just got over a bad cough about a week ago that he had for about 3 weeks because my husband and I and my son all got the flu but my husband and I had it the worst. It didn't seem to hit my son that hard. I'm worried about it being swine flu and I don't need to get it either because I'm 36 weeks pregnant.

Jaw pain when I wake up? I snore and have a hard time breathing at night?

About once a week I wake up with Jaw pain, It is on both sides and around my chin and when I touch it, i feel more pain like a black and blue would. I have noticed this happening for a couple years. I have a hard time breathing at night, so I am told by my spouse, I snore and sleep with my mouth open, I wake up and my nose is very congested and mouth very dry. I also notice that when I wake up that my nose appears larger. I have no idea what cause me to have the jaw pain, I also sweat a couple days a week I wake up with the bed soaked. Hamilton: Greatest Ever?

People that are bashing Lewis Hamilton just don't understand what we are seeing here. He could be the greatest driver of all time in any series. Today was the first bad race he has had and that is because of the horrific accident he had yesterday. Today was the first time he has finished off the podium this year. Even though he did not gain points he is still leading the standings. People that say they cheer when he does bad haven't had much cheering to do so far this year have they. If he does or doesn't win the championship this year doesn't matter because he has proven he can beat a guy (Alsonso) who was able to beat the current greatest driver of all time Michael Schumacher. Lewis will have a great career and everyone who is cheering against him will be fans within the next couple of years when they face the fact he is the best F1 driver in the series today.

What should i wear with my ugg boots?

Personally, I think a cute skirt with leggings looks great with Ugg boots but that probably isn't the most comfortable look for a flight. Flaired jeans can look cute with Ugg boots even though you can't really see the boots as much. Sweats pants aren't the most stylish but you're going for comfort like most people at the airport are so you wouldn't look out of place. Just where whatever makes you happy. If you're worried about looking "bad" just remember that chances are you'll never see any of the people at the airport or on the plane ever again. Crock pot questions....?

I have a big crock pot, I think it is a 5qt, but nothing on it says how many quarts it is. Is there anyway of finding that out? (I am new at this crock pot thing) I have used it for some stew and a few other soups/stews, and I have an old crock pot recipe book, and it says I can make bread in it, but I need a bread and cake pan to go in it. Why? Actually any crock pot info would be great. YES bad guys do fall for the good girls. but there is a twist! the bad guy will always be bad,,speaking from personal experience.. I was the good girl and that bad guy fell for me! He hid his true colors for a little while and i feel in love with him.. (even after being married to a wonderful man for 3 years and 1 kid i am still loving him from afar) what the twist is...it takes a GOOD girl to realize that that bad guy is not going to change for HER he needs to change for himself first BEFORE he changes for her...sometimes it takes too long and other times they never come to face with what they need to change.

HPT BFP (Please Read)?

Well as some of you may have read my previous questions on some pregnancy symptoms I was having like heartburn and loss of appetite and tender , know that I was unsure if I was pregnant or not. I eat the heels, don't matter to me. I think they're really good actually, lol. If I just opened the bag to make a sandwich I'll use the first and second slice, I don't skip around it. My 4 year old son's behavior is pitiful, no form of discipline I have used has helped to correct it, any help?

He is EXTREMELY defiant, never follows directions, talks back all the time, complains about everything (from what to eat - he's a VERY picky eater - to his socks hurting him when I ask him to put his shoes & socks on everyday) and the list goes on. He has always had behavior problems but they've definitely escalated since my husband left for training in the military 2 months ago. Everyday is a struggle with him from the moment he wakes up until I finally get him to bed. He gets plenty of time to be active & let his energy out everyday because he goes to preschool. I make sure he's fed breakfast, lunch & dinner but getting him to eat healthy is a struggle because he's so picky. His idea of breakfast right now is a pop tart and a gl of milk. When he's home for lunch I'm lucky if I can get him to eat a "meal" and when I can it's either, grilled cheese, macaroni & cheese, or a cheese quesadilla... he doesn't like anything else except on the rare occasion. For dinner sometimes he'll eat a hotdog, or some noodles, but no vegetables and anything really filling. He's a healthy weight, but otherwise he would just chose to snack all day if I let him. And sometimes being on top of him is difficult because I have a 2 year old who's autistic and a demanding 6 month old who's teething. But let's talk about his behavior, oh my gosh, he's out of control. He doesn't listen, if you tell him no, you turn your back and he does it anyway, if I ask him to do something and tend to another child or try to break free to pee you come back 5-10 minutes later it's still not done, and I'm talking simple stuff, like get dressed, clean up your toys, put your shoes & socks on, etc. And I can remind him over and over and he'll get the clothes to get dressed, or get his shoes to put them on, but then something distracts him and it's like he forgot what he was doing. He doesn't like to share with his younger brother (I know this is probably "normal") and he is always taking things from his younger brother just to upset him or stir things up when things are mellowed down in the house. He adores the baby but sometimes he's right up in his face laying on him and when I tell him that he could hurt the baby he just defies me and puts more energy into doing just what I asked him not to. I'm taking him to see a psychologist right now because of how extreme his behavior has been and there have been many, many morning when I feel like I'm just going to lose it if I don't get help because I do this all by myself with no friends or family around to offer me some support when you need that nudge to remind you to "keep on going, this too shall p, everything's going to be ok". She just says she could see that he really misses his daddy, and has given me some tips on how to reward his good behavior, etc but there's been no good behavior to reward. And when he's bad I have tried everything from him, putting him in timeout, getting nose to nose with him a screaming, taking away his favorite toys, etc and NOTHING seems to be effective, it's always back to square one the next day. One thing he's afraid of is when I pretend to call a fictitious "Officer Smith" on the phone to come have a talk with him and then he gets his act together, but only for like 5 minutes. Tonight after talking to his daddy on the phone (which he does every night) he had an episode again so I tried something new and put him to bed early (8:30) and he was complaining of his head hurting probably because he was screaming and running away from me when I told him I was going to put him down. So after putting him to bed it dawned on me that this was EARLY for him, because since his dad left things have gotten a little harder for me to do by myself and by the time I pick them up from school, get them their dinner, feed the baby, change diapers, etc it's going on 9:00 or even 9:30.. so I thought, that's it maybe I need to do whatever I can to have him in bed by 7:30... which would be difficult, but I'm sure if I planned things out better or picked them up earlier I could do it. Something funny has happened to my computer?

I dropped my USB on the floor and when I plugged it back in, it simply didn't work. Normally it would flash when it was inserted but this time it didn't. I attempted to recover some work that I had done on a Microsoft Works Spreadsheet by using 'open with' but this didn't work. I then played solitaire and then switched the computer off. Next time I used the computer, all the programs instead of having their usual icons had the Microsoft Works Spreadsheet icon and wouldn't open. The only program that worked was solitaire. A message kept coming up that the programme was a read only file and that it couldn't open it. In desperation, I went to the control panel and created another account and the programmes all worked on it. Can someone tell me what's happened? What can I do to fix it? Would it be safe to delete the original account and just use the new one I created? Another thing is that I accepted the terms and conditions for Microsoft Office 2010 on the new account too- is this ok? Thank you!

TTC after mirena iud, has anyone had any luck?

I got mirena removed on 1/20 I am going on my 3rd month of ttc. had regular cycles in jan and feb, but a goofy one this month but still no bfp and I also have not had cramps like i did in the past months.. how long did it take you or how long have you been trying since removal? Help I am starting to wonder if having mirena was a mistake because with my other kids I was only off the patch for 2 weeks before getting preggo, but now it is going on 3 months. A chest x-ray taken a week ago showed that I have a "strip" of pneumonia in my right lung (only a portion is infected, not the entire lung), and my left lung is normal. I also had acute bronchitis. I've been sick for 2 weeks now. I use a Qvar inhaler, and a nebulizer when needed. My right lung still makes a weird groaning/crackling sound when I breathe. Should I go back to the doctor? How long do viral pneumonia symptoms last? It's already been 2 weeks, and my lung is still making a weird noise.

Kids have not been warned about the dangers of socialism. They are told that in socialism everyone is equal. What they are not told is that while everyone is equal, no one has anything. Should a child ask that question it should be answered honestly and not sugar coated. That question is best answered by someone from a country that is socialist. I have numb patches of skin on my leg and on my arm and the feeling hasn't come back in days what should I do?

I have been using burning hot water sometimes on my arms as part of my OCD but I am trying very hard to stop, I did for a while but now I have started back up again, but am now turning on the cold with the hot, sometimes I don't feel like turning it on, and I wash my hands with two kinds of soap which is regular bar and then dish soap, I do this several times a day. Anyway, I also noticed a patch of skin on my leg that is starting to go numb as well and I haven't been using and hot water on it other than warm water in the shower. At first for my arm I thought that it was just because I have been sleeping on it but usually when I loose circulation the feeling returns with a day or two, it has been almost a week and the felling hasn't returned to the top part of my wrist on my arm. Not sure what to do, please help. My friend thinks that it could be caused by a vitamin b deficiency, I do have a diagnosis of b12 deficiency but I don't know if that would have anything to do with it. On the inside of the elbow joint of my arms I have rashes from excessive hand washing and to treat the dry skin I used neosporin could that have affected it i anyway? I also still have a bit of numbness on the inside of my thighs from my chemical burns which were from trying to clean my legs which I now realize was wrong and stopped almost two weeks ago but thous have almost completely healed after I started using neosporin on them as well but are still purple, There is also most of the time dried soap on my legs but not arms from trying to clean my self as part of my ritual. Very descriptive poem. When you read it, you can see the tree and the vivid coloring of the leaf, you can feel the cold air of winter on your face, and you can hear the crunching bones. I like this very much. Also, you have no spelling mistakes that I can see. If you're going for a haiku, the rhythm is nearly perfect, except that the last line has four syllables when it should have five. I know how difficult it is to get the syllables to amount to the right number and still say what you want it to say, I've written a lot of poems with a strict syllabic rhythm format. Keep writing!

How to I stop being a vegetarian?

I became a vegetarian roughly two and half years ago (June 2007). Because I've been having some medical problems, many people have recommended that I eat some meat. To be quite honest, I really don't know how to stop being a vegetarian. I've accidentally gotten a hold of some oyster sauced once and it made me very, very sick on my stomach, almost like being food poisoned. I agreed to try to eat a little bit and then I burst out into tears. I don't know how to do this. What's a safe way to start eating meat again without getting sick. Btw, starting with fish first is out of the question, I would gag while eating any type of seafood even before I was a vegetarian.

When should a man stop giving above and beyond child support?

What is everyones opionion on a man or woman buying for their children above and beyond what they pay out in child support? I get my kids every weekend from Sun to Mon. We have joint custody but she is the custodial parent. I have over 160 over night visits per yr. I have bought them clothes supplies, school clothes, given my EX money to help her pay her rent that she shares with in live in BF. And I have dropped what I was doing to go give her money for the kids in order for them to go to the movies, bowling etc. I was at her beck n call before I met my current wife. Once I moved in with her my EX took me back to court for additional child support. A yr later when I got married she took me back to court again because her hours were cut at work and I was working alot of over time. She had the nerve to stand in court and tell the judge I do nothing for the kids. I even carrry insurance on them through my employer. Each time we went to court she won. Last weekend she learned that my child support stopped for my oldest daughter from another relationship because my daughter got married. My EX did not waste any time calling child support and asking for another hearing so she can get the money I was paying for my daughter. My current wife is on me all the time telling me to stop givng out to the kids so much and let their mother pay for things. She said this woman has her cake and is eating it too. She says every weekend my son is saying "I want" or "I need" and I immediatley get whatever for him. I pay for his hair cuts. This issue is causing alot of tension between me and my wife. Especially since once again I am being taken back to court for add'l child support. She says most men pay child support and thats it but I am taking things way out of control by buying, buying and buying. Please dont say my wife is being selfish because very few women would put up with a man who has their kids every single weekend. She has allowed me to put my kids first and her second. She is a wonderful wife, mother and an overall good woman. My EX is the gold digger and being selfish. Why do you think humans just sit back and allow everything that slowly destroys us to happen? We are allowing the world to become over populated and the consiquences of that will soon show. The parking lots around almost all except Wal Mart are always quite empty, and the usual temporary workers are not being hired. We support businesses that are not ashamed of Jesus, and they are doing good business, but are not merchants of "stuff" for presents. Isn't it interesting that Christmas was once so popular with a "natural" event of season shopping by supposedly a majority being Christians, bringing a boon to stores, but since Jesus began being omitted, there is much failure? I think there will be a flood of closed stores and rise in unemployment soon after a very lean Christmas. Several of the major department stores are already doing clearance sales, the shelves not being restocked. Grocers are cutting back on variety, like one brand of peanut er, saltines, canned fruit, etc. Not looking so good for those not having blessing from God.

I've felt like this for a long time. I almost always feel like something is different and can't really figure out what. This can happen sometimes if the same small school of fish are in the same area for a long period of time. This exact situation actually happened to me not that long ago. The first thing I did was switch around the tank and buy a few different decorations. This will help break up any territories that the big ones hae claimed and make it all new to everyone. Then, I went out and bought three new small fish. I did this for two reasons: so that the school was up to the healthy numbers and so the new fish had some others to hang with that were new too. After all of this everyone seemed to get along fine and pal around like they used to. I hope this helps and good luck to you and your fish. :)

It sounds like you didn't pay for a home inspection?? If you did and the inspector left out the furnace and W/H problems, then you have recourse against the inspectors bond/insurance Co. You need to look closely at the sellers discloseure statement(hire a Realtor or R/E lawyer) and see if the seller misled you, it sounds as though your not quite sure of the legal aspects and your problems are too important to mess up by not knowing your rights.

Why won't me dog eat? is she depressed?

Recently about a month ago my dog Diamond died from spleen cancer he was 13 years old. My other dog Roxy who we adopted when she was a puppy has had him with her, her whole life. after he died Roxy didnt really seem to react since he had to be put down at the vet. abbout 5 days later we realized she doesnt eat. We tried switching her dog food and she still wont eat. she will eat a couple bites here and there but never her full meal. this has been going on for a couple weeks. Well, I have a Squier Telecaster Standard special edition with a humbucker pickup in the bridge position and a single-coil pickup in the neck position. Lost Control of my Car! Please Advice.?

I was on the highway. It was not raining at the time but it had rained hard a few minutes before so road was wet. I got on an exit ramp and started to slow down. When suddenly I saw a large piece of mud on my right side. Before I knew it, my car began going to the right violently and then I tried making it go left which it did but way too much so I tried making it go right and then left again until it went so far left that my car which was perpendicular to the road started to skid. When it started to skid on its side I decided to let go of the wheel and just hope for the best. my car ended up doing a whole 180 degree turn from its original position and I realized that I was on the ramp facing the wrong way. Fortunately the driver behind me had the good sense to stop and put his hazard lights on. I avoided a close one . I felt fortunate I did not fall off the ramp and that it did not happen somewhere more dangerous such as the highway itself. I will have my first born child in a couple of months and I cannot stand the idea of him growing up without a father. Please advice me as to what are the best techniques to regain control of my car once I feel like I am loosing control and let me know what type of maintenance and or upgrades I should do to my car in order to lower the chances that something like this will happen to me again.

i dont know what else youve done but i still had a nat problem after opening the port through my router, windows firewall, anti virus ect.....then i tried logging back into my router/modem and disabled the UPNP by unchecking it and disabled it in azureus also and nat problem immediately solved havent failed a test since......so try either enabling it if its disabled or vice versa....the timeout means the port is still closed but in my case the UPNP was confusing my router so try it out

Dizzy with new gles?

hi i just got a new prescription gles and the problem is that when ever i sit or am standing still with the gles im fine but whenver i walk i get dizzy with my new gles(3days old) and tend to switch back to my 5month old gles. is this normal? how long should i feel dizzy and headaches. when i watch tv with them its fine but when i go out i get dizzy. also things seem to kinda blur out everytime i blink with the gles on. plz help me footprint, or any other optician online. id like to know if i have to bring them back. i have to squint to see like 40 or 50 ft out and see fine like 10 ft out from something with the glasses.

A Friend of Mine Just Ped Away? This is the first time someone ever this close I knew really did die?

He died on November 26, 2008 at 1 AM of Ewing Sarcoma. I remember that I called his dad's cell (the only phone number in the directory) and I left a very nice message saying something like "Hey man this is your friend, I want to wish you good luck to get through this cancer and I'm letting you know that I'm thinking of you, and if this is my last message before you die, I want to say farewell to you. I love you bro. Bye." But I did say my name and his name I just don't want to give it away on here. I left him a voice message either the night before he died or 2 nights before he died. I felt bad because I don't know if he ever got my message. I hope his dad said the message to him before he died. When the principle announced it, he was chocked up. I feel more moody than sad. Is this normal? And do you think that was the right thing to send him a nice message?

Whats killing my old fish when adding new ones?

Hello, i have a bi-orb (60l) no heater, nothing extra in it bar pebbles and an ornament i have 1 fancy goldfish. an oranda. The problem im having is whenever i go and get more fancy goldfish to add to the tank, my old ones die??!! this is very sad as i get very attached to them and i feel like ive killed them. i clean it on a regular basis or whenever i see algae on the tank wall, i use stress coat every time, as sad as it is i make sure each of them has had at least one sinking pellet in the morning and night, the fish i add are the same size and from pets at home (not diseased) i can clean my tank after they have settled but my old ones still die. i hate only having one fish in a 60liter tank but i just cant risk adding any more in. Giving pacifier to 9 day old fed baby... any experience or comments on this?

My little girl is 9 days old, and the only way that I can get her to sleep on her own (not in someone's arms) is to give her a pacifier. I am feeding, she does well, and is pooping and peeing as she should. I started the pacifier last night as my husband and I are both in desparate need of sleep. I know that it's not recomended for fed babies to use pacifiers. I just wonder if anyone has used them this early and what has happend with the progress that has been made with feeding. Does it ruin it, or doesn't interfere at all?? Please, any experience with this will be appreciated!

Whole rotisserie marinated chicken - oven just broke, what to do?
