Why have the Democrat Candidates avoided the # one issue of Illegal Aliens?

Its obvious to anyone with a functioning brain; that the Democrats are disengenuos and wasting our time with crap like the War and Health Care and Abortion. These are the same loser issues that have lost the Democrats 2 elections. Soon to be 3. Oh by the way, Mitt Romney is the only candidate from any party that has courageously stated, NO to Amnesty. Another no brainer. Mitt Romney has my vote.
