I can't remember the title of a book and i need help remembering it!!?

Ok so i remember a little about this book... so the title started with a S and i think it was somewhere along the lines of squib or something like that. It was about a magical pill that once taken basically told you everything you would need to know. It helps you with school athletics and girls. Its a pill that make's you change your entire life. All i can remember is one character no name tho.. :( but he's a nerd. or close no friends lot's of bullys and such. and near the end he writes a journal about what happened. oh yea these little pills where from japan :/ haha.
