Social sciences question, case study. Help please?

Renter's insurance is always a plus. If she is starting from nothing though, she should make some friends, to start. She could take out a loan to get security and first months rent on a new apartment. She could also ask her old landlord for compensation if it wasn't her fault. Shelters can be helpful, but you can also catch TB and get caught up with the crack crowd (they steal your stuff, try to make money using your children, etc...) I'm sure any good church would put them up for a few nights. Main thing is to only spend on necessities.
